MATH 201 - Elementary Functions

This course focuses on basic functions (power functions, polynomials, rational and algebraic function, exponentials and logarithms, trigonometric functions), and operations on functions, including inverse functions, transformations and composition of functions. The course also includes a detailed study of trigonometry of angles, geometry of triangles and related trigonometric transformations.

Course material refers to all content that is needed to be licensed, acquired, or leased for the purpose of offering the online course.

This fee is paid by students at the time of the retrieval of their eConcordia course and is in addition to the regular tuition that they pay to the university for the enrolment in the credit course.

Prerequisite

NOTE: Students who have received credit or exemption for MATH203 or equivalent, or for a course having MATH203 or equivalent in its sequence of prerequisites, may not take this course for credit.

NOTE: Students in programs leading to the BSc degree or the BA programs in Mathematics and Statistics may not take this course for credit to be applied to their program of concentration.
